With the help of some very devious persuasion skills, Ariel managed to convince her parents to make her room look like this. Whenever she steps into her room, there's an oozing happiness that overwhelms her and she often hurries over to the fireplace to get it going and then rid herself of her clothes before jumping into the cold water of the small pool, staying in as long as she can manage before retrieving her bathrobe and sitting down in front of the fire. Her parents only agreed to the pool if it was a cold one, so she wouldn't be spending all her time in her room, but also some along with her family.
