Strengths: Sympathetic to the struggles of the disadvantaged. Roy is determined to succeed, friendly, and compassionate. He respectful of everyone he meets unless they do something to show they do not deserve his respect. His goal in life is to essentially help enlighten others.
Weaknesses: Receiving negative feedback usually results in an argument where he tries to justify himself. He can be stubborn minded and won’t back down from a fight no matter to stakes. Caring for almost everyone tends to leave him feeling drained at the end of the day.



Roy was born to somewhat conservative parents, Harold and Miriam(Wilson) Porter. Growing up in a small three bedroom apartment in New York, Roy was constantly subjected to the torturous speeches his parents would give him. They were against science, magic, and just about anything that goes against their beliefs.

They were the kind of people who thought both evolution and witchcraft were make-believe games for young children to play. Of course, Roy’s older brother Drew was one to agree with his parents and often bullied his brother for his opposing opinions. He grew up to be a child with generally liberal views and he enjoyed partaking in debates with his parents, even despite the punishment he would later endure.

During his young life there weren’t many magical outbursts but when his magic would appear, it usually interfered with his technology. Yet when his letter came, Roy’s parents were absolutely furious and against him leaving to harness his magical abilities. He left in spite of their protests and threats and flew through school with little issues. Roy was always the type to devote himself to his studies but that didn’t stop him from every occasional argument.
